Current Research Activities

                                The ARGO project is now entering in its second phase, aimed at the set-up of a new vehicle, at the demonstration to the public of its potentialities, and at the development of an embedded active safety device to be used also for automatic vehicle driving.
The main goals of this second stage are:
  • Development of a new prototype vehicle;
  • Integration of the hardware and software system for active safety and automatic guidance;
  • Development of new algorithms and new architectural solutions in order to remove the problems shown by the first prototype;
  • Test of the vehicle with a long trip for an extensive test on public roads and for a demonstration to the scientific community, to the public, and to the press.
